The bread sounds divine, and the cat is clearly a show stealer. I’d love to catch glimpses of her sneaking through the pages of your next cookbook and causing mischief.

She has also damaged an expensive coffee

machine in the last few days.

This looks so deliciously good. A bowl of soup and this bread I think would be the best end to the day.

This is fantastic, absolutely will be making this and once made might not share it. Warm oozy cheese with garlic butter in bread has got to be the ultimate comfort food. Our cats might be related, your poor electronics and dogs! If it weren't for the snow up past the windows outside mine might've become a 100% outdoor cat the other day- he has No idea how lucky he is.

Thanks for the delicious looking recipe, can't wait to bake it.

William, I would never have said that you have garlic powder in your kitchen… living in Italy, it’s kind of a forbidden ingredient. Never mind, the loaf looks gorgeous!

I always find an appropriate use for every strange ingredient. In this case fresh garlic would be too strong, though spring garlic leaves would be a fine addition to this recipe when the season comes. This is ground down to a powder from garlic that I dehydrated from last years’ crop. A time and a place for everything. I’ve learned that.

"I like CHEESE! Perhaps a nice Wensleydale." -- Wallace

Thanks for sharing such goodness with the world Will. I believe I will pass on the cheese rolling event. I already have enough old sports injuries to forecast when a storm is approaching.
